In the wake of Spielberg's Jaws' success, Oscar winners Shelley Winters, John Huston and Henry Fonda feature in a midnight horror creature film. Each year 10,000 tourists visit Ocean Beach. But this summer it has attracted something else: a giant octopus, genetically mutated by industrial waste. Several people are starting to disappear from sea and a sailing regatta with children has just began.
